Membership
The Maine Beer Writers' Guild was founded by the publishers of A Blog About Beer, BeerBloggers.com, and Beer, Maine & Me during a get-together at Portland's Great Lost Bear. We're looking for more beer writers from Maine to join us. If you fit the following criteria, please visit the Contact Page and drop us a line.
Membership Criteria
- You must live in Maine
- You must be 21 or over (we don't promote or condone underage drinking)
- You must write about beer, either for an electronic or print publication
- You must be able to attend at least one Guild meeting annually
- Your definition of beer must extend beyond American macro-brewed lagers (if Bud is your favorite beer, you can expect some hazing)
